Provide (Sign Language education/tutoring) support to (Newton) Hawaii Alliance regional field team
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Provide deaf and hard of hearing education to the Hawaii Alliance regional field team, focusing on American Sign Language
Facilitates communication between users and non users of sign language in the educational environment
Collaborate with regional field team in order to provide optimum educational and general services
Other duties as assigned
Requires a bachelor's degree and minimum one to three years sign language interpreting/transliterating preferred; must be able to demonstrate receptive, expressive and voice interpreting skills in American Sign Language. Teaching experience preferred.
Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers. Must be flexible. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
