Overview:
Under the general direction of the VP Sales Manager of Chain, the Foodland Field Manager will ensure that all "field and execution" needs of SFOC (Sulliven Family of Companies) retail stores (Foodland, Sack 'n Save, Food Pantry, Malama, Farms and others) are performed at the highest YMCo standards.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit and survey 3-4 stores daily and log store conditions on SFOC score card.
Provide mentoring/coaching of Sales Representatives.
Provide weekly recap to both Foodland Buyer and VP Sales Manager of Chain.
Ensure Metro Display Compliance to include, but not limited to resolving false ad reporting.
Maintain file of all score cards for future reference and follow up.
Responsible for professional ordering and inventory control.
Visit and survey all islands a minimum of once per month.
Communicate SFOC OSS report to Sales Representatives, District Manager and Branch Managers every Tuesday, after review by Foodland Buyer and VP Sales Manager of Chain.
Provide ongoing operational maintenance to include, but not limited to schematic maintenance and identify/notify all scanning issues to buyer.
Responsible to assure new items are "cut in" to the sets within 30 days of buyers approval.
Provide marketing support to include, but not limited to ensuring liquor permits are processed and approved by buyer for all in-store sampling.
Responsible for monthly Foodland retail survey to be conducted on all YMCO items to double check against master file retail and cost.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience. Three to five years of management experience in the retail (Chain) industry.
Other Qualifications :
Must possess valid Hawaii State Driver's license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record.
SKILLS/ABILITIES :
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, conflict management and leadership skills.
Ability to work with management, direct reports and customers throughout the business and industry at every level.
Ability to train and develop Sales Representatives.
Ability to lift without restrictions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
