Overview:
Fast paced environment with diverse responsibilities that include but are not limited to cash application, account reconcilement and credit release functions. Customer service oriented individual with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, A/R reconciliation with an accounting background. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash application for all islands and express stores using remote deposit application
Process checks using remote scanning
Process and reconcilement of Fintech payments
Daily and monthly bank deposit reconcilement
Daily reconciliation of journal entries
Chain and broad market accounts receivable reconciliation
Prepare A/R reports in Excel format using analytical skills
Review orders and analyze credit worthiness
Assist internal and external customers with a professional demeanor
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 5 years accounts receivable experience and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience with a working understanding of general ledgers.
SKILLS/ABILITIES :
Working knowledge for computer systems, JBA, and AS400 is preferred
Must be proficient in 10-key by touch
Must be proficient in navigating the Internet and Image document retrieval
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word programs
Must have advance skills in Microsoft Excel
Must have advance experience in A/R reconciliation and cash application
Must have strong organizational skills
Must have an excellent attendance record

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
