First Commercial Kitchen First Commercial Kitchen Waipahu, HI Waipahu, HI Full-time Full-time $13 - $17 an hour $13 - $17 an hour JOB DESCRIPTION The Food Production and Manufacturing Associate is responsible for working with our food production team in making a variety of food products in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
They must be able to work efficiently to ensure our food products are safe to eat and meet all regulations and standards.
JOB DUTIES - Maintain all personal and food safety standards - Prepare food ingredients by measuring, mixing, stirring, chopping, slicing, dicing, peeling, or otherwise preparing them for production - Monitor and operate cooking equipment such as kettle steamers, mixers, grinders, etc.
- Monitor and operate packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, bottling machines, labeling machines, etc.
- Perform all sanitation tasks such as cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces using cleaning chemicals or other detergents JOB REQUIREMENTS - Applicants must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable, the position requires a team-oriented, positive attitude - Position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds - Position requires walking or standing most of the shift and may include stooping, crawling, and crouching.
