We plan to open in late September 2023.
We are seeking our first group of Associates, part time and full time, for this new business.
Assoiciates must love interacting with customers, solving and discovering their needs, be it shipping, printing, dropping off a package, or looking for a mailbox.
Associates will gain an extensive knowledge of The UPS Store's, products, services, systems and practices.
The UPS Store and this store's owners want its associates to deliver world-class customer service to all customers, and you will be trained in The UPS Store's sales skills.
In addition, Associates will often open and close the center, and consult with customers on print projects or following up on other business matters.
Associates can become a notary and supervise other new associates.
Previous UPS Store or Mailboxes etc experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate has college coursework or a degree (or relevant military experience), two years of retail store operations experience Candidates ideally should have competence with Point of Sale computers, large copy/print machines, and business software knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES Delivers World Class customer service Communicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and store leadership Operates all equipment, software and devices expertly and is willing to teach others Takes ownership of customers' packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends May open and/or close the store, perform beginning and end-of-day accounting and administritive tasks, etc.
Particpates in center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality control Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required Retail/customer service experience Ability to learn and use POS systems Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services Good communication and people skills Prompt, reliable, and responsible Able to lift 40
