Perform duties such as monitoring of health status, bathing, dressing, toileting or ambulation of patient in a health or nursing facility.
Assist in personal and dental hygiene, check specimen such as urine, stools and sputum.
Observe patients and monitor physical conditions and report any changes to onsite nurse.
Successfully complete a State Approved Nurse Aid Training Program.
Must have current certification and registration with Hawaii Department of Health.
Knowledge in medical terminology and abbreviation required.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and strategies to promote effective State and Local Operations for the safety of patients and others.
First Aid and CPR skills preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant or 2 years of work related skills or knowledge is required.
