Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator

The qualified applicant must be a self-starter, professional, hardworking, dependable, team player, and energetic with strong communication and organizational skills.
The candidate must possess a positive outgoing attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail is necessary.
We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to grow with our team, enjoy their time at work, and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Duties include but are not limited to; welcoming patients, checking patient's insurance coverage and benefits, assisting patients with HMO referrals, coordinating care with referring doctors, confirming appointments, presenting treatment plans, scheduling office surgeries and follow-up care, scheduling hospital cases and diagnostic tests, answering phones, calling in patient prescriptions, and sending and reviewing patient correspondence letters.
Experience in oral surgery is preferred; however, we will train motivated individuals with a background in dentistry.
We always provide excellent patient care and provide a supportive and successful work environment.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:
35 am through 5:
30 pm, except Thursdays 7:
35 am to 1:
30 pm.
We are closed Thursday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.
